BACKSTORY: INTERLUDEProdigious son from two top coordinators, Anthony Abner is a Sinnoh born Coordinator with a hefty amount of experience in the art of being a Pokemon Coordinator. Since a young age the craft has been hammered into him, so much so that it even strained the relationship with his parents. He is the inheritor of the Trophy Garden a once renown and sacred ground for those who were in the Pearl Clan. Coincidentally he is also a descendant from them.BACKSTORY CHAPTER 1
Recieving his first started Pokemon was suppose to be a joyous occasion, but with a harsh, prestigious set of parents Anthony didn't have a choice at first. His parents were set on getting him the perfect Pokemon. Pedigree only. Fastest. Strongest. Anthony had no say in this.Days passed. Then weeks. Yet nothing was good enough. His parents began to fight, almost everyday. He couldn't take it anymore so Anthony ran away. He managed to get to Mt. Coronet, and was chased up the mountain by a flock of Golbat and arrived to the Snowy Mountain Top. He was lost and ill prepared. It hadn't taken long until he was lost and on the edge of fainting. Snow-blind he wandered deeper and deeper into the snow storm. Until eventually he arrived at a hidden cliff and fell off. Yet something latched onto his small body. It was a Chatot. This Pokemon whom was also frail and week from the snowstorm had decided to, for unknown reasons, save him... But it didn't come without a cost. The wind was so powerful that the Chatot slammed into a tree, injuring his wing and dropping the two. Anthony rushed to its side. He scooped the small Pokemon up and began running as fast as his little legs could. Shin deep in snow he trudged. His lungs felt as if they were on fire and he lost feeling in his feet... But off in the distance there was a cabin... A cabin! But before he could make it he fainted and fell in the snow.A hiker had found him and brought the two to the cabin. They were bandaged and laying in a bed by the fire. The Chatot fluttered its wings and nuzzled into the boy, and the boy leaned into the bird as they drifted off into sleep.

The Journey so far
After competing in Sinnoh for so long his parents decided to send him off to Uva Academy. A new contest season is to be born in Paldea and he is expected to conquer the scene. Since his arrival in Paldea he has brought some of his younger Pokemon as well as some new additions to the team.After officially enrolling into the Academy he has quickly risen in the academic ranks. Even as a first year he is able to keep up with his curriculum at an impressive rate. He has shown to have an exceptional excellence in Mr. Marvell's class, the Pokemon Coordinator class
At the Trophy Garden
His soon to inherit Trophy Garden is the place where he keeps his Pokemon in-between seasons. He is often seen switching his team, but for the most part this is where they stay when not accompanying him. Seasoned in both battling and coordinating, his team has shown to have an impeccable battle sense. It is unknown how many Gym badges he posses's, but has shown to be able to compete and hold his own with Lucian of the Elite Four as well as Volkner.
